New Year, New Ideas for Shaping a Brighter Future

Happy New Year!If you are anything like me, the beginning of the new year feels like a time rife with possibility. Just last week, I was reading a daily meditation from the Findhorn Foundation and found myself particularly struck by this excerpt about how each of us impact and shape the world:
"As the world situation grows darker and worsens, so shall [the centers of light] grow brighter and brighter, until light overcomes all darkness. It is good to see a wider picture of what is taking place, but it is also very important to realize that it all starts within you. Realize that what is taking place within the individual goes out into the world and is reflected in the world situation. That is why peace of heart and mind is so essential within you, and why harmony, understanding, and deep love should flow between you and all others."Wishing you 2018 filled with joy, adventure, learning, possibility, light and deep love!Be well and do good,AlisonP.S. If you want some reminders about some of last year's centers of light, check out this list from UC Berkeley's The Greater Good Science Center.
